Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Cath Lab setting for a 13-week assignment. In this role, you will play a vital part in the delivery of specialized cardiovascular procedures, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Schedule:
5x8 hour day shifts.
Call schedule:
Monday through Friday 2:30 PM-6:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM-6:00 AM. Expected call coverage includes two weekdays per week and three weekends within a six-week period.
Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Ohio (OH). Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications. Prior experience in a Cath Lab environment is required. Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic setting with changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide post-procedure care. Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Ensure the maintenance and proper use of Cath Lab equipment. Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations as part of the on-call rotation. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly. Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
