Job Description

Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in Imaging and Cath Lab procedures to a dynamic healthcare environment dedicated to exceptional patient care. This role offers the opportunity to contribute vital diagnostic and interventional skills within a team-oriented setting, supporting both routine and urgent cardiovascular procedures.
Schedule:
10-hour day shifts (07:30 - 18:00), 40 hours per week Requires participation in on-call rotation, including two weekends per month and 1-2 call nights per week (detailed scheduling will be discussed during the interview) Holiday coverage required for one holiday per contract, if applicable
Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with strong imaging skills specific to the Cath Lab Proficient in scrub, monitor, and circulate roles for a variety of procedures Ability to maintain composure and attention to detail during high-pressure situations and urgent cases Comfortable communicating with physicians, patients, and interdisciplinary team members Valid certifications as required, including relevant state and national credentials Adaptable to rapidly changing situations and flexible in meeting the needs of the department
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging and laboratory equipment for cardiac catheterization and related procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures Monitor patient status throughout procedures, accurately document relevant details, and ensure safety protocols are followed Respond promptly to call-backs, efficiently assisting with emergent or off-hour procedures Maintain sterile environments and follow infection control practices Provide post-procedure care and patient education as needed You'll find an engaging, supportive clinical setting where your knowledge is valued and your skills make an immediate difference.
