Job Description

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract Step into a vital perioperative role supporting patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. This opportunity is ideal for skilled Certified Surgical Technologists or Operating Room Technicians with a strong background in assisting surgical teams and maintaining high standards of operating room safety.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or relevant nursing/ORT credentials Previous experience in an operating room environment Solid knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and collaborate effectively with team members Skilled in preparing, maintaining, and sterilizing instruments and equipment Strong communication and critical thinking abilities Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and provide outstanding patient care
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments to hospital and regulatory standards Assist surgical teams during procedures, anticipating requirements and providing instruments Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical instruments and materials Monitor patient safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times Participate in pre- and post-operative procedures, including patient positioning and room turnover Maintain accurate documentation and follow all facility guidelines
