Job Description

Job Description Join our dynamic cardiovascular team at a hospital-based setting, where you will play a crucial role in the care and treatment of patients in the CVICU. This is a locum tenens assignment offering full-time coverage from August to January, transitioning to PRN thereafter. Engage in diverse responsibilities and collaborate with intensivists and other advanced practice providers while working autonomously.

  • Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Manage and treat critically ill cardiovascular surgery patients in the CVICU Conduct thoracentesis and chest tube removals Handle placement of central venous and dialysis catheters Insert arterial lines and intra-aortic balloon pumps Work autonomously and collaborate with supervising physician and intensivists Assist with CV surgery consults on weekend shifts Qualifications Board Certified (AANP or NCPA) Michigan License
ACLS, BLS
through AHA Minimum 3 years of experience Acute Care trained and certified Working Hours 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, flexible to include days, nights, and weekends No call required Skills Proficiency in EPIC (EMR system) Strong ability to perform thoracentesis, chest tube insertions, and catheter placement Excellent autonomous decision-making capabilities Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams PDN-a1c3b2a0-dffd-4fd7-ac35-ec3b83614ae8
