Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Career Advisor, where you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to achieve their employment and personal development goals. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will provide personalized guidance, support workforce development initiatives, and foster meaningful connections that help clients navigate their career paths. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire confidence and motivate individuals to unlock their full potential, creating a positive impact in our community. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive career assessments to identify clients' skills, interests, and goals. Provide tailored counseling sessions that include job search strategies, resume building, interview preparation, and skill development. Develop and implement individualized employment plans aligned with clients' aspirations and abilities. Support clients with special needs, including those with developmental disabilities or autism, ensuring accessible and effective guidance. Facilitate workshops on workforce development topics such as labor laws, addiction counseling, mentoring, and training & development. Collaborate with employers, training providers, and community organizations to expand employment opportunities. Maintain detailed records of client progress, employment outcomes, and service delivery activities to ensure continuous improvement. Skills Strong knowledge of employment & labor law to advise clients accurately on rights and responsibilities. Experience working with individuals with disabilities. Effective teaching and mentoring skills to guide clients through skill-building activities and career transitions. Ability to conduct engaging interviews and facilitate recruitment processes for diverse populations. Excellent communication skills for active listening, motivational interviewing, and collaborative teamwork. From $19.49 per hour
