Caregiver

Help maintain a healthy, home-like environment. Have the ability to work with minimal supervision. Be able to conduct business in a professional manner. Communicate effectively with residents and family members. Respect privacy and follows HIPAA requirements. Responsibilities Assists residents with their personal care needs in a timely manner. Encourages and supports residents to continue to maintain independence and dignity by letting them do as much for themselves as possible. Encouraging residents to live life to the fullest. Assist resident with personal hygiene such as bathing, shampooing, and oral/denture care. Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, toileting and transfers. Assists residents with medications as directed by the nursing supervisor. Assistance with serving meals and clean up following meals. Does resident and facility laundry. Completes some light housekeeping for resident apartments. Cleaning duties throughout the community common areas.
