Job Description
Job Summary Hiring for a Full Time or Part Time Caregiver on 2nd Shift (2-10 PM) with the possibility to pick up other shifts as needed. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in an assisted living setting. In this vital role, you will promote independence, ensure safety, and enhance the quality of life for those under your care. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. This paid position offers an opportunity to work in an area where your caregiving skills can truly shine! Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical. Responsibilities Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior Assist with medications and follow care plans accurately while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met Document patient observations, care activities, and progress accurately in accordance with healthcare protocols Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, hospice care, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring. Will train on how to obtain vital signs, if needed. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality is essential Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; ongoing training opportunities are available for skill enhancement.
