Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
CNA/HHA MUST DRIVE
our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and support to individuals with various healthcare needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
Duties:
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
  • Administer medications under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Perform basic medical procedures, such as catheter care and wound dressing changes
  • Assist in the implementation of care plans developed by healthcare professionals
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions
Skills:
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of hospice care principles and practices
  • Ability to provide care for pediatric patients
  • Familiarity with assisted living settings and protocols
  • Proficiency in critical care procedures and protocols
  • Understanding of aseptic technique for infection control
  • Knowledge of geriatric care best practices
  • Experience using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
Requirements:
  • Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
