This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and selling fire alarm, inspection, monitoring, and life safety services to commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, outside sales experience, and the ability to build long-term customer relationships while delivering industry-leading fire protection solutions. Responsibilities Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through cold calling, networking, referrals, and relationship building Sell fire alarm systems, monitoring services, inspections, testing, maintenance agreements, and other fire protection solutions Conduct on-site customer visits to assess needs and recommend appropriate life safety services Prepare proposals, quotes, and service agreements for customers Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to generate recurring revenue opportunities Coordinate with operations, service technicians, and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success Track sales activity, pipeline management, and customer communications within CRM systems Stay informed on NFPA codes, fire alarm technologies, and industry trends Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license with clean driving record Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory Preferred Common knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and fire alarm/security 1-3 years of outside sales or business-to-business sales experience Experience in fire alarm, sprinkler, security, or life safety industries Cold calling and prospecting experience Knowledge of fire protection systems and inspection services Familiarity with NFPA standards and commercial service sales Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission potential Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Medical insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities About Blackwater Services Group Blackwater Services Group provides professional fire protection, life safety, inspection, alarm, and security solutions for commercial and industrial customers.
