Caregiver

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to fill full-time and part-time caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions in the Waterford, West Bloomfield, and Auburn Hills areas. Flexible scheduling is available, with weekend shifts required. In this role, you will support individuals in the disability community across various age groups, including clients with Cerebral Palsy, by assisting with daily living activities such as toileting, bathing, and mobility support using equipment like a Hoyer lift. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation and menu planning, light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, and apartment cleaning), transporting clients to appointments and outings, and taking notes while advocating for clients during doctor visits. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, Social Security Number, and be able to pass a background check, as well as hold or be willing to obtain certifications in First Aid/CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Recipient Rights.
