Caregiver

87-year-old female returning to Cold Spring NY after wintering in Florida. Client will rotate between her two daughters' homes, primarily residing with one daughter. Seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to assist with daily living activities and companionship.

Care Needs Include:

Medication reminders: Synthroid first Omeprazole 30 minutes later Meal preparation Shower assistance twice weekly (Wednesdays and Sundays) with hands-on support Assistance with dressing as needed, including daily application of compression hose Light housekeeping in client's bedroom/living area and bathroom Mobility support; client ambulates with a rollator Client toilets independently and uses a PureWick system overnight

Ideal Caregiver:

Patient, attentive, and comfortable providing hands-on personal care Experience with seniors and mobility support preferred Must be comfortable accompanying client in the pool for aquatic exercise sessions Client is pleasant and would benefit from a caregiver who enjoys conversation, encouragement, and promoting safe independence.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
