Job Description
Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver specializing in home care, where your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time opportunities, this role offers a rewarding chance to provide essential assistance in a resident's private homes. Your expertise will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for those in need while fostering a warm and respectful environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status and note changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organization Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient needs May have to work around residents' pets or help with small task regarding pets Requirements Experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing home settings, or working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care or hospice is a plus Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience for working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities All training required will be provided Join us to provide vital support that enhances quality of life!
