Caregiver-Immediate Hire-Flexible Shifts

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team immediately. This role offers flexible shifts to accommodate your schedule, allowing you to provide essential support and care to individuals in various settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Administer medication and monitor vital signs following care plans and HIPAA regulations Support patients with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior through detailed documentation Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely and effectively Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks Follow prescribed care plans tailored to individual needs, including Alzheimer's, dementia, or autism-specific protocols Assist with patient monitoring during activities requiring close supervision or specialized attention Support residents in community or home settings by fostering independence while ensuring safety Experience Candidates should have prior experience in caregiving roles such as home health, hospice care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes. Experience working with individuals with disabilities—including developmental disabilities—and familiarity with specialized care such as Alzheimer's or memory care is highly valued. Certifications like CPR and First Aid are preferred but not mandatory; however, willingness to obtain these certifications is expected. Ideal applicants will demonstrate excellent patient observation skills, the ability to perform heavy lifting safely when necessary, and a compassionate approach to caring for vulnerable populations. Experience working within HIPAA guidelines and understanding patient confidentiality is essential. Prior social work or long-term care experience will be considered advantageous for candidates seeking growth within the caregiving field.
