Caregiver - Port Lavaca, TX - Day Shifts - PART TIME

We are looking to fill a schedule with three clients in the Port lavaca area. Care goals for these clients include: meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, stand by assistance, and ambulation assistance. Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and attention. This role requires a blend of practical skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and well-being. Medication reminders according to care plans and assist with meal preparation. Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of gait belts and assistive devices. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document patient care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Provide specialized support for individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia. Experience Previous experience in caregiving roles is a plus. Knowledge of ADLs and IADLs is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges.
