Caregiver/Universal Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care, home health, or assisted living environments, and possess a strong understanding of the unique needs of clients with disabilities or seniors. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage various tasks while ensuring the comfort and well-being of those they assist. Duties Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper medication management. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to appropriate personnel. Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs. Prepare meals and assist with dietary requirements as needed. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence. Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals. Light Housekeeping Tasks Qualifications Experience in long-term care, home health, or assisted living settings is preferred. Knowledge of working with people with disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and first aid procedures. Certification in home care or senior care is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Compassionate nature with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate client schedules.
