Carpenter

Seeking an experienced and reliable carpenter to construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, cabinetry, and finishing work, as well as the ability to read blueprints and work independently or as part of a team.

Pay:

Starting at $30

• 40/hour, depending on experience — higher rates available for highly skilled candidates Job sites will vary and can take place within surrounding counties.

Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials Build frameworks for walls, floors, and doorframes Install cabinets, siding, drywall, windows, and doors Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans Ensure work is done in compliance with all building and safety codes Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods Ability to read technical documents and blueprints High attention to detail and craftsmanship Physical strength and stamina Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
