We are currently recruiting for a fulltimeCase Manager - Forensic. Responsibilities This position primarily serves as a provider of Restoration and Forensic Services to Greater Reach consumers to include assisting with community case management with those adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI). Ensures Greater Reach compliance with court ordered conditional release and fulfills mandatory reporting requirements for assigned forensic clients. Serves as back-up Hospital Liaison for patients in the custody of DBHDS under a forensic status. Assists in treatment and discharge planning for patients under other forensic status. Primary provider for restoration to competency services for client's ordered to outpatient restoration. Required Education and Experience Bachelors degree in human services field or related field. Minimum one (1) year position related experience working with SMI population. Minimum one (1) year position related experience with forensic population. Minimum one (1) year position related experience with community case management providing forensic counseling and case management in a mental health setting along with extensive community outreach. Qualified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Valid Virginia driver's license with a point balance of -6 or higher. Preferred Three (3) years position related experience with community case management providing forensic counseling and case management in a mental health setting along with extensive community outreach. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledgeinhumanpersonality,growthanddevelopment;longtermmentally ill. KnowledgeofneedsofSMIpopulations; MIasadisability Diagnosis/assessmenttechniques. Knowledgeofdiagnosticcriteria. Abilitytodiagnosisandtreatment planaccordingly. Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing counseling/therapy techniques for individual, group and families to include psychosocial rehabilitation. Knowledgeofclinicalcasemanagementasatreatmentmodalitycasemanagementservice. Effectiveoral andinterpersonalcommunicationskills. Understandingandexposuretointeragencyservicesandinteragencycoordination. Skillsinprovidingtherapyandcasemanagement; maintaininglong-termclientcasework. Abilitytoprovideemergency/crisisintervention. Competency in coordinating services for forensic clients both within the agency and outside of the agency coordinating services. Knowledgeofresources. Knowledgeofmentalhealth law. Ability to exercise sound judgment. Maintain high degree of confidentiality. Work as an effective team member with all types/levels of persons. Provide supervision and community-based services. Abilitytodemonstrateinitiative. Knowledgeofforensicwork. Ability to travel to multiple sites located throughout the Greater Reach catchment and surrounding areas. Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.

Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace. Annual Salary Range Grade C7.$52,576.00 - $59,148.00.
