Pay Staring pay is $17 per hour plus $2 per hour in tips Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register effectively. The Cashier will also assist with product demonstrations and stocking shelves as needed, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases. Operate the cash register, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies. Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer knowledge. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise on the sales floor. Supervise junior staff members during peak hours to ensure efficient operations. Answer customer inquiries over the phone with proper etiquette. Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions effectively. Requirements Previous experience in customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register. Ability to sell products effectively while providing excellent service. Experience with product demonstrations is a plus. Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction processing. Ability to supervise others in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
