Whether assisting with product demos or managing the checkout process, you'll play a vital role in creating a vibrant retail environment that keeps customers coming back. We only have openings for 21 years and older. Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product recommendations. Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible. Manage inventory levels through stock checks and assist with inventory counts to support store operations. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Assist in grocery store operations by ensuring cleanliness, safety protocols, and smooth checkout experiences Lift up to 50lbs or more Put orders in correctly Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Experience supervising team members or leading product demos is a plus, demonstrating leadership potential. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Familiarity with merchandising, stocking procedures, and POS systems will help you succeed in this role. A friendly demeanor combined with excellent phone etiquette ensures positive interactions both in person and over the phone.
