Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos to enhance their shopping experience Manage cash handling with attention to detail, ensuring correct change and transaction accuracy Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to boost sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries Support inventory management through stock replenishment and inventory checks in a fast-paced retail environment Experience Previous cashiering or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-focused attitude are key Bilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer groups Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math ensures smooth transactions Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal interaction, are essential for success in this role Upselling techniques can help maximize sales potential in-store Prior experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial but not mandatory This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail skills while delivering outstanding customer service.
