Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service through clear communication and friendly phone etiquette Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions, handle cash, credit cards, and perform cash handling duties with integrity Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling to enhance their shopping experience Restock shelves efficiently by merchandising products neatly and ensuring stock levels are maintained for easy access Conduct regular stocking activities, including inventory organization and product rotation in a grocery store environment Support sales initiatives by promoting featured products and assisting with retail math calculations for pricing and discounts Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas and stockrooms to uphold safety standards Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a broader customer base effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team operations Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and stock management is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks associated with stocking duties Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to providing outstanding service while maintaining an organized, inviting store environment.
