Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Step into an engaging nursing role where your expertise in Electrophysiology and Cath Lab care will be truly valued. As a Registered Nurse, you'll practice with independence and sound clinical judgment, addressing the diverse medical and emotional needs of patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
Schedule:
Four days per week 10-hour shifts each day
Essential Qualifications:
Active RN license in Texas or a compact state At least 2 years of recent Electrophysiology (EP) experience required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only) Critical care experience preferred; new graduates considered Commitment to attend New Nurses Orientation within 30 days of hire Willingness to complete initial and annual competency validations
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care using assessment, planning, interventions, and ongoing evaluation Administer medications and prescribed treatments, monitoring for side effects and ensuring treatment effectiveness Address the complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families Document consistently on patient histories, symptoms, treatments, and care provided Provide educational support to patients, caregivers, and families about disease processes, care plans, and resources Delegate tasks and assignments appropriately to support clinical operations and ensure optimal outcomes
