Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful role as an experienced Registered Nurse supporting a dedicated Cath Lab team. This contract assignment calls for a skilled professional committed to delivering high-quality cardiac care and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Catheterization Lab setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, monitoring, and equipment Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and support staff Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Commitment to maintaining patient safety and following clinical protocols
Schedule:
Assignments follow Cath Lab hours (details to be discussed during interview)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and electrophysiology procedures Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly recognizing and responding to any changes in condition Administer medications and manage IV therapies as directed Collaborate with the cardiology team to coordinate patient care and procedural preparation Document all patient information accurately and efficiently in medical records Educate patients and families regarding their procedures, recovery, and follow-up needs Adhere to infection prevention and safety standards at all times
