Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Take the opportunity to elevate your nursing career in a dynamic Cath Lab environment. This full-time contract role, structured for four 10-hour shifts each week, invites Registered Nurses with a strong background in Electrophysiology (EP) to contribute their expertise in delivering exceptional patient care. A minimum of two years of recent EP experience is required, ensuring competence in both routine and complex clinical situations.
Schedule:
Four shifts per week (10 hours per day) Full-time hours
Key Qualifications:
Current RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association At least two years of recent experience in EP Critical Care experience preferred; consideration given to new graduates eager to learn Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide thorough nursing care utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients Carefully administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring patients for efficacy and side effects Document comprehensive patient histories, symptoms, and interventions in the medical record Address complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding procedures, medications, and post-care needs Appropriately delegate tasks to optimize care delivery and workflow within the clinical team
