Qualifications & Experience:

Current certification/registration as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent). Proven experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting. Expertise in imaging equipment and radiation safety standards. Solid understanding of sterile technique and infection control. Ability to work calmly under pressure and adapt to fast-paced procedural changes. Excellent communication and collaborative skills for effective interdisciplinary teamwork. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies necessary for cardiac cath lab procedures. Operate imaging modalities during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging for clinical decision-making. Assure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, while monitoring vital signs and physiological responses. Scrub, circulate, and monitor during a variety of interventional cases, including angioplasties, stenting, and electrophysiology studies. Document procedure details accurately following hospital protocols. Contribute to on-call coverage and rotating shifts as needed by the department. Assist physicians and nursing staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes and procedural efficiency.
