Job Description
Category Imaging - Cath Lab Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career as an Imaging professional in a full-service Cath Lab setting, supporting a dynamic team comprised of Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and a General Surgeon. This contract position involves working side by side with experts providing a wide spectrum of Cardiac and Peripheral services. You'll contribute to diagnostic and interventional procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, angioplasty (PTCA), stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid diagnostic studies, pacemaker insertions, and more.
Schedule/Hours:
8-hour day shifts Rotating call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysQualifications:
Proficiency as a Radiologic Technologist in a Cath Lab environment Demonstrated experience operating advanced devices such as the Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and diverse coronary/peripheral atherectomy devices Ability to operate Siemens Artis Zee C-arm technology Strong familiarity with McKesson CPACS, Cardiology, and Hemodynamic systems Skilled in both scrubbing and circulating in Cath Lab procedures, including the operation of X-ray equipment Prior involvement in comprehensive cardiovascular/interventional radiology techniques is strongly preferred Current certification/license as required by state and regulatory standardsKey Responsibilities:
Scrub and circulate during an array of cardiac and peripheral interventions Operate imaging equipment and assist with advanced procedures Provide patient care throughout pre- and post-procedural phases Transport patients and support clinical workflows Manage inventory and contribute to billing-related tasks This opportunity allows you to apply advanced skills in a collaborative health care environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and supporting renowned specialists.
