In this vital role, you'll operate a variety of trucks—including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and forklift-equipped vehicles—ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in manual transmissions and route driving will keep our operations running smoothly while providing excellent service to our customers. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off mechanisms Drive various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and specialized vehicles like roll-off trucks Manage route driving responsibilities to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, including brakes, tires, lights, and load security Assist with securing loads on flatbeds or tankers to prevent shifting during transit Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or vehicle issues Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery and route management Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and handling various trailer types (refrigerated, flatbed, tanker) Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when necessary Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, including DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules Experience with different truck configurations such as tractor-trailers and dump trucks is preferred Strong physical stamina for loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road Join us if you're passionate about driving excellence!
