CDL Class A Driver / Handyman

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Class A Driver / Handyman to join our team. This position combines commercial driving responsibilities with general maintenance, repair, and handyman duties. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities CDL Driving Duties Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations Transport equipment, materials, and supplies to job sites or customer locations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation Load and unload materials as needed Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely Report vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly Handyman / Maintenance Duties Perform general repairs and maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, flooring, and basic HVAC tasks Install, repair, and replace fixtures, equipment, and building components Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete work orders efficiently Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely Maintain clean and organized work areas and vehicles Assist with property upkeep, facility improvements, and preventative maintenance Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Qualifications Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record Current DOT medical card Experience towing trailers and operating heavy equipment Proven handyman, maintenance, construction, or repair experience Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and perform physical labor Strong problem-solving and time-management skills Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious Preferred Skills Welding or fabrication experience Knowledge of OSHA safety standards Basic computer or mobile app skills Work Environment Combination of driving, outdoor work, and indoor maintenance tasks Will require travel to multiple out of state job sites Full-time schedule with occasional overtime or weekend work

Pay:
