Seeking a Program Manager (Project-Focused | Manufacturing/Engineering) to support a growing engineering-driven manufacturing organization in Fort Valley, GA! This role will support the execution of key programs by coordinating project activities, maintaining timelines, and ensuring deliverables are completed across cross-functional teams. You'll work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to track progress, provide status updates, and help drive projects from planning through completion.Responsibilities:
Manage multiple concurrent projects, including a mix of large, long-term programs and smaller, fast-paced initiatives with varying scope and timelines. Coordinate daily project activities using Microsoft Project and action item trackers to ensure the team remains on task. Create and maintain project schedules, timing plans, and budgets under the direction of senior leadership. Draft Statements of Work (SOW) and maintain centralized archives for all project documentation, including key milestones. Track progress across teams and drive accountability on deliverables, milestones, and action items. Support documentation, reporting, and stakeholder updates, including status reports and leadership presentations. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, track, and align resource needs to support successful project completion. Identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline workflows, team communication, and reporting processes. Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in program or project management, with an engineering background (mechanical preferred) or prior experience transitioning from engineering into PM Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business-related field required Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with varying scope, size, and timelines Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project for scheduling, tracking, and execution; Point or Power BI experience is a plus Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, with ability to coordinate workflows and drive progress across cross-functional teams Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a focus on continuous improvement Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with the ability to push projects forward while maintaining strong working relationships Automotive or manufacturing engineering or program/project management experience is a plusSimilar remote jobs
