Job Description

Roll-Off Truck Driver with CDL, Class A or B Come work for a strong fast growing, competitive local roll-off dumpster company. We pride ourselves on customer service and it shows with our long standing clients. We are looking for dedicated, reliable, and drivers that take pride in their job and equipment. We are proud of our upgraded fleet which includes Volvo's, Freightliner, Kenworth from 2024. Full-time employees will receive vacation pay starting after 90 days, overtime available, and home on nights and weekends. Optional benefits include health insurance, vison, dental, and retirement. Pay will depend on experience. Pay and benefits will be discussed during interview only.
Minimum Job Requirements :
Able to show proof of ability to legally work in the United States Must possess a valid TN driver's license with CDL Class A or Class B Must possess current DOT Medical Exam & Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification Must be able to drive a 10 speed transmission and/or automatic transmission. Interview, Physical Assessment & Drug Screen :
An interview will take place in the office. A physical assessment (non-paid test drive for skill set, as passenger to observe & as driver to perform - to be scheduled at interview) & drug screen will be scheduled by management prior to employment & during employment. Any failure of screening will result in immediate revocation of applicant's consideration and/or worker's employment.
Duties & Responsibilities :
All Waste Solutions of TN employees are required to communicate and perform their duties in a clear professional manner with our clients, other company employees and the general public as our employees are direct a reflection of our company. Our Roll-off Drivers are responsible for the hauling of waste debris from large, high volume construction customers, demolition sites, and other commercial customers. Roll-off containers are emptied at designated landfills per the location of placed container. Driver is responsible for performing daily assigned duties on roll-off routes. This physically strenuous position involves mounting & dismounting containers from a heavy-duty truck multiple times each day & in variable weather conditions. In addition, the position involves lifting (up to 75 pounds), pushing, pulling & bending. Drivers must have & maintain safe driving records. Drivers must accurately complete logs & vehicle inspections daily. Our Roll-off drivers are also subject to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations which apply to a commercial motor vehicle that is self-propelled or a towed motor vehicle used on a highway in interstate commerce to transport passengers or property when the vehicle: (1) has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) or gross combination weight rating (GCWR)--or a gross vehicle weight (GVW) or gross combination weight (GCW)--of 4,536 kilograms (10,001 pounds) or more, whichever is greater; or (2) is designed or used to transport more than 8 passengers, including the driver, for compensation; or (3) is designed or used to transport more than 15 passengers, including the driver, whether or not it is used to transport passengers for compensation; or (4) is used in transporting material found by the Secretary of Transportation to be hazardous under 49 U.S.C. 5103 and transported in a quantity requiring placarding under regulations prescribed by the Secretary under 49 CFR, Subtitle B, Chapter I, Subchapter C.'
