Job Description
Hours of Work- Full-time, Nightshift, 7p-7a Comprehensive Benefits Package- Medical & Dental coverage, 401K match, paid time off, tuition assistance and more! Shift, Weekend & PRN differential Fisher-Titus proudly serves the greater Huron County area's 70,000-plus residents by providing a full continuum of health and wellness care from heart and cancer care to outpatient services such as lab, imaging, and physical rehabilitation.

Deliver compassionate and convenient care to the highest level of excellence that promotes lifelong health and wellness for our community Primary responsibility for monitoring cardiac telemetry monitors for lethal arrhythmia's, as well as end tidal CO2 monitors and notifying the appropriate staff when necessary. Also responsible for various clerical functions involved in admitting and discharging patients, notifications to departments, and other support to managers and direct care staff. Reports to Critical Care and 2 North Manger. Monitors cardiac telemetry, recognizes lethal arrhythmia's and contacts appropriate personnel when necessary. Appropriately admits, discharges, or changes telemetry information, and completes telemetry report form. Communicates appropriately with managers, supervisors, and staff. Monitors End Tidal CO2 and reports abnormalities to appropriate staff. Admits and discharges patients from system, and prints reports as indicated. Utilizes clinical Access, and discharges patients from Clinical Access at appropriate time. Utilizes EMR; prints charts, name bands, patient labels, demographic information, and scans documents into EMR appropriately. Calls consults to physicians and documents notification in EMR. Completes chart audit at beginning of shift to ensure consult notifications complete. Receives new patient information and assigns bed appropriately. Communicates admissions with bed assignments and discharges to appropriate staff and departments. Completes charge entry as indicated (usually night shift). Labels discharge call back forms and separates for appropriate unit. Maintains stock of printed patient material as instructed. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment. Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team intra and inter departmentally to facilitate the department/units ability to meet its goals and objectives. Assumes all other assigned duties and responsibilities as necessary. High School or better in General.
