Certified Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable experience.

Duties:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare patients for dental work and obtain their dental records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
• Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Perform various office tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

Requirements:

• Proficiency in medical imaging and taking vital signs
• Knowledge of medical coding and Dentrix/Dexis software is a plus
• Familiarity with assisting in various dental
• Understanding of anatomy and four-handed dentistry techniques
