Certified Medical Assistant (Bilingual)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires a compassionate individual with a strong understanding of medical procedures and excellent patient service skills. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories. Provide medical administrative support by maintaining patient records Utilize EMR systems to update patient information and communicate with healthcare systems Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing Perform EKG, administer vaccines, and medications via IM/SC/ID/oral Assist with procedures and treatments as requested by the Physician Prepare exam rooms and set up charts for EMR Perform office procedures including all general administrative tasks Schedule patients, perform check-ins and check-outs, and collect co-pays Complete insurance verifications and prior authorizations Skills Demonstrates proficiency in medical terminology and office procedures Knowledge of EMR (TEBRA) but not required Knowledge of medication management, ordering and refills as directed Prior authorization, documentation, and referrals Front and back-office experience a plus Ability to work effectively in both independent and team-oriented environments. Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with patients Capability to thrive in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
