Certified Medical Assistant

Skin Deep Rx is a growing aesthetics and wellness clinic in Tooele, Utah, focused on helping patients feel confident, supported, and cared for through personalized wellness, aesthetic, weight loss, and hormone optimization services. We are looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is reliable, personable, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a patient-focused clinical environment. Previous medical office experience and phlebotomy skills are strongly preferred. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys patient interaction, takes pride in keeping clinic flow organized, and wants a long-term position in a high-quality, growing practice. Responsibilities The Medical Assistant will support the provider and clinic team with both clinical and administrative duties, including: Rooming patients and preparing them for appointments Taking and documenting vital signs Reviewing patient history, medications, and intake forms Assisting with patient flow throughout the clinic, including prepping charts and anticipating clinic needs each week Performing blood draws/phlebotomy Preparing lab orders and coordinating lab-related tasks Assisting with weight loss, wellness, hormone, and aesthetics visits Cleaning, stocking, and preparing exam/treatment rooms and lab area Maintaining inventory of medical supplies Supporting patient communication by phone, text, or email as directed Scheduling appointments and assisting with front desk tasks Documenting accurately in the electronic medical record Maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times Providing a friendly, professional, and welcoming patient experience Providing light cleaning and maintaining of clinic space each week Qualifications Preferred qualifications: Medical Assistant experience Phlebotomy experience or certification Experience in a medical office, wellness clinic, aesthetics clinic, or similar healthcare setting Familiarity with EMR systems Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment Professional appearance and demeanor Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented

Typical clinic hours are Monday 8 am to 12 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 10 am to 6:30 pm and Thursday from 12 pm to 8:30 pm. Schedule may vary based on clinic needs. Pay $19.00-22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. 90-Day Evaluation Period Employment will include an initial 90-day evaluation period. During this time, Skin Deep Rx will assess overall job performance, reliability, professionalism, patient interaction, clinical skills, communication, attendance, and overall fit within the clinic. At the end of the 90-day period, a performance review will be completed to determine continued employment and discuss any needed training, expectations, or opportunities for growth. This evaluation period does not alter the at-will nature of employment.
