Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a comprehensive understanding of facilities management. This role is critical in ensuring the reliable operation of equipment, adherence to safety standards, and efficient management of maintenance resources. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance schedules, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance. Responsibilities Supervise and lead maintenance technicians in daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS systems. Oversee the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment, including HVAC, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), mechanical components, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues. Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage) and mechanical operations. Coordinate with production departments to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and work orders using CMMS software. Train and mentor team members on best practices in facilities management, electrical systems, HVAC, and industrial maintenance procedures. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with a focus on facilities management or maintenance supervision. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and industrial automation systems. Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and maintenance planning. Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical repair techniques, and general facilities management practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective project management skills. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a safety-conscious work environment. Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination across departments.
