Certified Nursing Assistant, 1199 postion

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNAs to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care and requires a strong understanding of medical procedures and patient needs.

THIS IS AN 1199 UNION POSITION WITH BENEFITS

Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Help patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds or wheelchairs. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a positive environment. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Assist with phlebotomy tasks as needed and ensure proper handling of specimens. Work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Knowledge of physiology and basic medical terminology. Experience working in a caregiving role or healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) usage. Understanding of hospital medicine practices. Ability to work within systems that support patient care delivery. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
