Moscow, ID Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this vital role, you will support patient care across various healthcare settings, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for our residents and patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialized care, including those with complex medical needs such as dementia, memory care, and post-acute recovery. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions, reporting findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or behavioral health needs Support medication administration under supervision while adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques Document patient care activities thoroughly in medical records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and use of assistive devices such as the Hoyer lift or bed rails Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams in acute care, long-term care, hospice, behavioral health, and community settings Qualifications Valid CNA certification with active state licensure Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including long-term care facilities, hospitals (ICU, trauma centers), assisted living communities, or outpatient clinics Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology principles, and infection control practices including aseptic technique Experience caring for individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly valued Ability to perform basic life support (BLS) certification and respond effectively in urgent or emergency situations Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient service and caregiving Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering compassionate care that transforms lives.
