Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily activities, and support clinical staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. Working in a long-term care facility, hospitals, your dedication will help promote health, independence, and dignity for elderly population. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in diverse healthcare environments while making a positive impact every day. Responsibilities Deliver hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices. Monitor vital signs and observe patients for changes in condition, promptly reporting findings to nursing staff. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, medication administration under supervision, and basic wound care following aseptic techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Point Click Care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support patients with specialized needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, behavioral health challenges, and individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient service and comfort. Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or behavioral health. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Point Click Care or similar platforms for accurate medical records management. Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient safety during transfers using Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients of all ages—including children—and collaborate seamlessly with healthcare teams.
