Job Description
Orchards at Tulare has openings to join an in-house Therapy Team! $1500 Sign on Bonus What Sets Us Apart We are an in-house, close-knit therapy team who addresses patient needs and collaborates well with our IDT looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to expand our leisure program with our residents. With us, you will enjoy a fun work atmosphere, a diverse patient population, and the opportunity to create and implement the programs that will best serve the needs of your patients. Our team has a family feel and all members are appreciated, seen, and heard. We are excited to grow our therapy team and are looking for staff that are excited to join or team. We pride ourselves on culture and employee satisfaction and need staff who want to be part of our collaborative and innovative team. We currently have Full-time, Part-time, and PRN positions available.

Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to facility documentation guidelines Record treatments given and progress notes in medical record Assist in maintaining department Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans. Participate in training programs for other staff in the facility Record treatment charges per the facility policy and procedures Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance programExperience/Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.Desired Skills:
Exhibits a sincere desire to help patients and residents in their rehabilitation process Superior interpersonal communication skills Strong writing skills required for documentation of the care you provide Exhibits knowledge and understanding of therapy practice Possesses and conveys high degree of credibility and integrity Enjoys team cohesion, is a team player, has a positive attitude and a strong desire to make a constructive impact on organizational excellence Understands and accepts the unpredictable nature and needs of the therapy function in a busy rehab departmentSimilar remote jobs
