Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) School Based (Float)

Job description Crestwood, IL | Multiple School Locations $42-$45 per hour | 2025-2026 School Year AB Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA - Float) to support multiple school locations in the Crestwood, IL area for the 2025-2026 school year . This school-based role follows the academic calendar and offers consistent weekday hours with the flexibility and variety of floating between campuses.

$1,575

Key Responsibilities:

Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide direct therapy services to students per IEP goals Support students' functional, fine motor, sensory, and school participation skills Collaborate with teachers, OTs, and multidisciplinary teams Travel between assigned school buildings as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments

Qualifications:

Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active Illinois COTA License School-based or pediatric experience preferred Comfortable floating between multiple school sites BLS/CPR certification Ability to meet standard pre-employment requirements Why AB Staffing?
