  • Part-time, Full-time, Contract Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a full-time or part time, 1099 independent contractor role!
In this energetic position, you'll play a vital part in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through personalized occupational therapy interventions. You will deliver compassionate care that makes a real difference. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and be part of a great team!

  • Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, feeding, to promote independence and safety.
Implement individualized care plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists. Document patient progress and report any changes in condition or concerns to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and techniques to support recovery at home. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Qualifications Valid Texas License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Minimum 6 months experience working with Pediatric Population Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating compassion and empathy towards patients.
