Position Details and Qualifications:
We are excited to offer part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant positions. If you're passionate about pediatric therapy and meet the qualifications listed below, we'd love to speak with you!

Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution
Certification and Licensure:
Current COTA certification (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) and active state licensure as an
Occupational Therapy Assistant Experience:
Pediatric or school-based experience is preferred, along with a solid understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques for young clients
Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide engaging, evidence-based therapy to children and young adults, supporting their development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional abilities Implement individualized therapy plans as developed by the supervising OT, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of each client Collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to create cohesive care plans, ensuring that clients receive well-rounded support Maintain accurate documentation, tracking client progress, session notes, and updates to therapy plans Foster a warm, encouraging environment for children and families, empowering clients to reach their full potential Make a Difference with New Day Therapy Center!
