Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated, results-oriented, and professional coach to join our growing personal training team. This is a multi-faceted role that includes time on the training floor as well as involvement in the promotion and growth of our personal training services. The position requires both coaching expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with our sales and marketing teams to support overall business growth. This is a part-time to full-time opportunity, offering 8-12 hours a week to start and the potential to move to more hours per week later in the year, with performance-based incentives and potential for advancement. Position Details:

Conduct 1on1 (as well as two and three-person small group) training sessions based on our training methodology and systems. Describe proper exercise techniques to clients and instill motivation and knowledge to reach their goals. Conduct group training classes. Work as a team with our coaches & sales team to meet company PT sales & retention goals. Perform fitness assessments with new prospects, including performing functional movement screenings (FMS). Part-time position with 8- 12 hours per week with potential of more hours and incentives available. Requires good availability and must be able to work Sunday mornings and at least 1-2 weekday evenings up to 8pm. Prior training experience required and must have a nationally recognized personal training certification. Sales is a strong component of the position. Must live within 30 minutes of the facility. This position requires the ability to safely demonstrate and assist with exercise techniques, including lifting, moving, and positioning equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. The trainer must be able to actively engage in physical demonstrations of exercises and movements as required to support client training, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Requirements Include:

Previous training experience required Must have a nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, NSCA, CSCS or similar preferred) Certification in, or at least familiarity with, the Functional Movement Screening (FMS) preferred Specialty certifications are a plus Social media interest and/or experience is a plus Familiarity with semi-private, customized training programming is preferred Prior experience with Group Training instruction is a plus Current CPR/AED certification required Must be willing to invest your time and effort to further your knowledge and career Demonstrate an enthusiasm for helping clients achieve results Possess honesty, personal integrity, and a strong work ethic Intend to pursue a lifelong career in fitness Must be mature and professional with strong communication and sales skills Must have excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills Must be personable and enjoy working with all types of people Must be a team player and subscribe to the core values of our club Sales skills and prior sales experience is a HUGE plus Income, Incentives & Benefits Starting rate between $25 - $30 per hour 90-day and then annual performance reviews with potential for rate increases and additional benefits Health insurance is available, after a 90 day waiting period, with portion paid by the company increasing with each year of employment Opportunities provided for continuing education 401(k) with company match of 3% after 6 months
