Responsibilities Implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, physical education, and social skills aligned with early childhood education standards. Plan and execute engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, including Montessori and other pedagogical approaches. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment conducive to learning. Support children's emotional well-being through positive reinforcement and personalized attention, especially in cases involving special education or early intervention needs. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate developmental progress and address individual child welfare concerns. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and classroom activities to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and best practices. Qualifications Valid certification as a Pre-School Teacher with bachelors degree Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs including tutoring in foundational skills. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other specialized educational approaches such as standardized testing or physical education is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners. Prior experience working in private schools or daycare environments is advantageous.
