Work Schedule:

7.5-hour workday Schedule options: 9:00 AM

• 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM
• 6:00 PM 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break Overtime and occasional weekend coverage may be required On-call support for behavioral health emergencies Pay rate : $45
• 50/hr Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for youth within the facility.

Provide individual, group, and family counseling services. Conduct crisis intervention and behavioral health assessments. Manage suicide/homicide watch cases and develop safety plans. Complete clinical documentation including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge plans, and court reports. Lead interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and maintain meeting documentation. Collaborate with correctional staff, medical providers, families, courts, schools, and community partners. Develop behavioral management plans for youth with challenging behaviors. Coordinate referrals for higher levels of psychiatric care when necessary. Serve as on-call clinical support for after-hours emergencies. Participate in evidence-based therapeutic programming after completion of required DJJ training. Maintain compliance with DJJ policies, state regulations, and accrediting standards.

Additional Qualifications:

Must meet Kentucky

KRS 600.020

(52) requirements as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Experience working with adolescents, behavioral health, juvenile justice, residential treatment, or crisis intervention preferred Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills.
