Preservationist Technician (On-Call / Transplant Support) Make an impact when it matters most. As a Preservationist Technician, you are a vital link in the transplant chain. You'll manage the surgical setup, organ packaging, and advanced perfusion tech that ensures a donated organ successfully reaches its recipient. This isn't a 9-to-5; it's a mission. The Schedule (Read this first!) This role is designed for those who thrive on a non-traditional schedule and want significant time off between shifts.

On-Call Commitment:

15-20 days per month.

The Reality:

Most cases occur overnight, on weekends, and during holidays .

Travel:

You must be ready to deploy on short notice via ground or small aircraft.

What You'll Do Surgical Support:

Scrub in, maintain sterile fields, and first assist in high-pressure recovery environments.

Organ Preservation:

Execute strict protocols for organ packaging, labeling, and temperature control.

Perfusion Tech:

Support advanced machine perfusion workflows to keep organs viable for transplant.

Logistics:

Manage the chain of custody and documentation to ensure a seamless handoff to the transplant team.

Who You Are The Professional:

You have surgical or clinical experience (CST, CTP, or Tissue Recovery background preferred).

You are incredibly reliable. When the phone rings at 2:00 AM, you're ready to go.
