Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Perform specimen collection processing and ensure proper handling and documentation. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with colleagues and document patient information accurately. Provide triage services to prioritize patient needs in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Administer treatments and medications as prescribed, including gastric lavage when necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care, particularly in internal medicine and behavioral health contexts. Educate patients and their families on health management, home community care, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems.

Experience:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Proven experience in outpatient care, internal medicine, or behavioral health preferred. Familiarity with specimen collection processing techniques is advantageous. Strong understanding of medical terminology and its application in clinical settings. Experience with triage processes and patient management strategies is desirable.
