Key Responsibilities :
Work safely and maintain equipment safety. Primary owner of manufacturing operations (including maintenance) and facilities/asset management. Work in conjunction with Production Supervisors to improve and manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant. Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with laboratory, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize production processes and resolve issues. Responsible for improvement projects and capital projects to ensure capacities and capabilities are aligned with company growth. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity/efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality, and improve safety/ergonomics. Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, especially safety and environmental. Manage the maintenance process for assigned plant. Manage the plant budget, including cost control and resource allocation, to achieve financial targets. Primary owner of staff development. Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance, including production output, safety incidents, and operational challenges, to senior management. Other duties as assigned. Required hands-on, technical, or other types of training to perform the job: Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the chemical industry or similar environment. Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Chlor-alkali experience Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
