Chemical Process Operator I

You Are a detail-oriented and safety-focused Chemical Production Operator (CPO) with experience working in controlled GMP environments using personal protective equipment and supplied-air respirators. Responsible for preparing, measuring, mixing, and monitoring chemical and biological materials while ensuring product quality, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety and production procedures. Skilled in equipment operation, troubleshooting, SAP transactions, inventory tracking, and maintaining clean and organized production areas.

This Position Pays:

$22-$32/hour (depending on experience, shift, and location).

What You Will Be Doing:

Weighing, measuring, preparing, and mixing chemical and biological materials according to GMP procedures and batch instructions. Operating reactors and large-scale production equipment, monitoring processes, performing calculations, adjusting batches, and conducting in-process testing such as pH and conductivity checks. Performing SAP transactions including inventory transfers, goods issue/receipt, labor tracking, and maintaining accurate production records and labels. Handling hazardous chemicals safely while wearing PPE and supplied-air respirators, including chemical disposal and decontamination procedures. Troubleshooting equipment issues, performing minor repairs, supporting maintenance activities, and assisting with process improvements and SOP updates. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment while collaborating with team members and training other employees as needed.

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or GED required. 0-3 years of manufacturing, chemical production, GMP, or related experience preferred. Strong math skills with the ability to calculate ratios, measurements, and unit conversions accurately. Experience using Microsoft Office programs; SAP or ERP system experience is a plus. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English within a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and task-prioritization skills.
