Cherry Picker Operator paying $19.50 Job Description The Cherry Picker Operator safely operates a cherry picker and performs order picking, palletizing, and receiving tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role involves pulling orders both by hand and using powered equipment while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and a strong focus on safety. Responsibilities Operate a cherry picker to pull and stage orders accurately and efficiently. Manually pull orders by hand when required to complete picking assignments. Use an RF scanner to locate, pick, and verify products according to order requirements. Palletize products securely to prepare orders for shipment or storage. Assist with receiving activities, including unloading, scanning, and organizing incoming products. Work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting productivity and accuracy goals. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations. Communicate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow. Handle heavy products and materials as needed to complete daily tasks. Essential Skills At least 2 years of experience operating a cherry picker. Proficiency in order picking using a cherry picker and by hand. Experience with palletizing products for shipment or storage. Experience in receiving operations within a distribution or warehouse environment. Ability to use an RF scanner to locate, pick, and verify inventory. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced distribution setting. Capability to handle heavy products and materials safely. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when pulling and verifying orders. Commitment to following safety procedures and operating equipment responsibly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience operating a sit-down forklift is a plus. Previous experience working in a distribution or warehouse facility.
